ABOUT US

Take Control of Your Numbers,
With Someone Who Understands How Businesses Actually Operate

Hi, I’m Joe, the founder of Plumb Financial. Before working directly with service-based business owners, I built my background in accounting and financial analysis inside real operating companies. I’ve set up close processes for growing organizations, built financial models and projections used to evaluate opportunities, and supported leadership teams with reporting that actually guided decisions.

I’ve also worked extensively with project-driven and construction- adjacent businesses. I’m a Certified Remodeling Project Manager and a past board member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, and I’ve spent time inside tools many contractors already use, including Buildertrend and JobTread.

Plumb Financial exists because too many solid business owners feel unsure about their numbers. Our approach is straightforward. We get your bookkeeping clean, keep it current, and make the financial picture easy to understand. From there, CFO advisory becomes practical and useful, not abstract. If you want to learn more about how we work and who we work best with, you can read more here.

Are We Right for You?

If your business is busy but the numbers feel unclear, you’re in the right place. We support owners who want consistent bookkeeping and reporting they can actually use, not spreadsheets that raise more questions than answers.

Many of our clients are in the trades or run service-based companies with a lot of moving parts. Remodelers, contractors, landscapers, designers, and other project-driven businesses tend to benefit the most, but you do not need to fit in a neat box. If you want clarity and a cleaner system, we can usually help.

Why Service-Based Businesses Choose Plumb Financial

Clear Numbers You Can Use

Clean books are not the finish line, they’re the starting point. We keep your financials current, easy to understand, and set up in a way that supports real decisions like hiring, pricing, and planning cash flow.

CFO Support Built on Good Bookkeeping

Advisory only works when the foundation is solid. If your books are behind or inconsistent, we start by getting everything up to date. Once the numbers are reliable, the CFO side becomes practical and useful instead of theoretical.

Straight Talk and Consistent Follow-Through

You should never wonder what’s happening or what comes next. We keep communication simple, set expectations clearly, and build a system that stays steady month after month.

Wondering what bookkeeping really costs?

We’ll walk you through the pricing range and what actually drives it, like transaction volume, payroll complexity, and how clean the books are today.

Your Industry Has Moving Parts
Your Bookkeeping Should Match That Reality

A lot of bookkeeping firms treat every business the same. Service businesses don’t work that way. You’ve got jobs, deposits, materials, subcontractors, change orders, and weeks where cash moves fast.

We set up your chart of accounts and reporting so it actually fits how you operate. Less cleanup. More clarity you can use when you’re deciding what to quote, when to hire, and what’s safe to pay yourself.

Bookkeeping & CFO Support for Service Businesses

If your business is growing but the financial side feels behind, you’re not alone. We help owners get their books organized, then use that foundation to support smarter decisions with simple, practical CFO advisory.

Bookkeeping is the foundation. It keeps transactions categorized, accounts reconciled, and financials accurate. CFO advisory is what we build once the books are reliable. That’s where we use the numbers to support decisions like cash planning, pricing, hiring, and how to pay yourself with confidence.

Based in Edmonds, Serving the Greater Seattle Area

We work with service-based business owners across Snohomish and North King County. If you’re local, great. If you’re remote but operate like our best-fit clients, we can still be a strong partner. The main thing is that you want clean numbers and a system you can trust month after month.
